Located in Oakland’s Jack London Square, A3Ventures is the innovation lab and capital investment engine of AAA. As Head of Product Marketing you will work with a diverse team to develop and launch new products and services that help people thrive in our rapidly changing world
What you’ll do
Your mandate is to set and deliver the vision and strategy for A3Ventures and each of the products and services launched. Reporting directly to the Head of A3Ventures Lab and part of the leadership team you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and planning, development and execution of all of A3Ventures’ marketing initiatives. You will take a holistic view of the products and services being launched from A3Ventures and ensure they work in concert with AAA NCNU products and services and take the lead in forming cross-functional teams to ensure all activities work together to advance the AAA brand.
Set Vision & Strategy: Lead the vision and strategy for marketing communications at A3V, including A3Ventures brand and each of the products and services launched from A3V. Take a holistic view to ensure that all marketing communications listen to market trends and support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
Develop & Oversee: Guide, develop and oversee implementation of the marketing plan for A3Ventures and for each of the products and services launched. Support and guide each member of the marketing team to develop product positionings including understanding category & landscape, value proposition, problem the product is solving, key features & benefits, customer journey, target audience insights and go to market approach.
Launch & Beyond: Oversee each product/service launch and establish a governance and mentorship role post-launch, to ensure ongoing communications are on brand and working efficiently to achieve goals.
Create Partnerships: Create a solid network of internal and external partnerships, liaise and work with cross-functional teams to establish regular communication cadence & ensure unified approach.
Plan & Oversee Budgets: Plan, oversee and manage overall budgets for marketing communications and ensure team adheres to budget.
Plan & Organize Marketing & Team: Plan and organize marketing functions, operations and team guided by a clear vision.
Counsel, Mentor & Develop: Work collaboratively with each individual and the overall team to develop and guide. Develop succession planning across the team
What you’ve done.
You’re a senior and experienced marketing leader. You understand the value of the art and science of marketing and have a track record of delivering outstanding results for brand, product and people development.
15+ years of well-rounded marketing communications and business growth in positions of increasing responsibility including management of P&L and multi-million dollar budgets and leading engagements with internal and external partners.
Extensive experience in developing brands and products from the ground up including establishing new markets through to revitalizing and enhancing existing brands and products across multiple sectors
Proven ability in to balance a practical mindset with creative business acumen to lead people through complex marketing operations
Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaboration and team building in order to produce results
Intimate knowledge and up to date experience across all marketing channels and ability to assess correct tools and channels to meet differing requirements
Experience building and developing individuals and teams united for success
